No matter who you are (or who you love), Pixel's Kiss Detection is the best way to capture your perfect New Year’s kiss.
KISS 2019 GOODBYE

We recreated the intimacy of the New Year’s kiss by using the Pixel to both obstruct the view and perfectly capture each moment. The selfie kisses were then magically revealed on screen in a video made just for social. A tutorial to show #teampixel how to turn on Kiss Detection rounds out the piece.

New Year’s is a jubilant moment of hope and cheer, and each kiss setting we created amplified that overwhelming joy of sharing the moment with someone you love. Colored lighting and colorfully saturated wardrobes visually represented the vibrancy of that joy and love. Sparkly props and wardrobe brought the essence of New Year’s into each scene.
CASTING KISSES

We captured a variety of kisses, ranging from the romantic to the familial, ensuring that each is tasteful and sensitive to various global norms around displays of affection. In our casting, we were intentionally representing various experiences, cultures, and identities.
